A local church announced a new 8:15 a.m. Sunday service Friday for congregants who have historically treated the 9:00 service as a soft open.
The pastor said the goal was worship, community, and getting people out before the Publix parking lot became a test of faith.
“We love that you’re here,” he told the congregation. “We can tell when you’re already gone.”
